A farmer adjusts his spreader

Increase the overlap width to optimize the working width
The working width is the distance between two adjacent passages of the dispensing device. - As a reminder, when the farmer increases his working width, he must still ensure that the spreader is able to adapt to the desired width (that the blades are long enough, for example).
Adapt the flow to the forward speed
The flow must always be adapted to the speed of advance of the machine. Depending on its physical characteristics or weather conditions, the fertilizer does not flow at the same speed. If your machine is new, it should be able to manage this change in behavior because the electronic system constantly analyzes how the fertilizer flows and adjusts the position of the hatches in order to keep the programmed dose. But it is advisable to do tests to make sure.
