Whether you work in a factory, office or in any other type of workplace setting, making sure that you are working in an environment that is safe is extremely important. There are laws in place to ensure employers adhere to certain regulations and safety requirements in order to protect employees from various types of injuries and risks. While the vast majority of companies strive to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy place to work, there are times when corners get cut or employers refuse to implement proper protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of their employees.<\/p>\n
While it can be stressful to work in an unsafe environment, many employees are faced with the burden of wondering whether or not they should report safety violations and possibly face the repercussions that might come from being the one who is unwilling to look the other way. This is especially true when given the fact that most employees do not want to lose their job.
