Teextile is another one of those design communities were people submit their tshirt designs to be voted on by the community, with the best ones getting selected to be printed. The only difference between us and the rest is that we only have 4 shirts up for sale at one point. Releasing a minimum of 1 new shirt a week which will replace one of the current selling shirts

it completely depends on how well it doing, could be anywhere from 3 days to no more than a month.

artist make 2 dollars per shirt for the first 500 we sell, and 1 dollar for every shirt after that.

teextile classics are basicly reprints from the old teextile, curated shirts are designs that skip the voting process and go straight to print. The rest are designs that artist submitted to the site to be voted on by the community.

we normally contact artist directly. the easiest way to get your design printed is to simply submit it to the site to be voted on.

we havent decided on that one yet, but its definitely a maybe.

anybody with a little bit of talent who likes to call himself a designer or artist (or not because he doesn't enjoy being labeled)... but designs do go through a small screening process to make sure its up to par, and that its not porn or anything. If your design isnt approved in a week, that usually means it wont be.

to name a few,
-if it has to many colors
-if you wouldn't feel comfortable showing it to your granny
-if its a copy of someone else's design
-if it looks like it took you 2 seconds to do it (in other words, if it sucks)

but in the end, all that matters is that its an awesome design, even if you made it using MSpaint.

you have to be logged in first, then simply go to that designs page, and there should be a pretty obvious button that says "vote" sitting on top of the designs image.

the process is a little more subjective than just how many votes your design has... we also take into account all the comments, and recent activity. plus the weight of each vote, which means an active members vote is worth more than someone who simply came to the site once to vote for one design and then never came back again

we charge 3 dollars for first class shipping for your first shirt, and 1 dollar for every extra shirt. So if you buy 2 shirts, its 4 dollars, if you buy 3 shirts its 5 dollars and so on

At the moment we only ship to canada, we will be offering more countries in the future, depending on how many requests we get

if you are returning your shirt because of something we did wrong (sent you the wrong size, or a bad print, etc), then we cover all of the cost. sadly, if you're simply returning it because you don't like it for some reason... then the return shipping cost would be your responsibility
